IIEA plans an eight-page quarterly research bulletin on the model of the PTSD Research Quarterly, published by the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Each issue begins with two- to three-page synopsis of research on a significant topic in the field. Then follow selected abstracts of books and articles and additional citations annotated by the author(s) of the synopsis. This style is explorative and integrative rather than narrow and divisive, more suited to developing a field of study. The last page may be reserved for IIEA announcements, project developments, and so on. The target date for the first issue is June 2008.
